The Global Ambassador Program is a leadership initiative of ExploreXtraordinaire Center, designed to empower youth leaders worldwide to champion education equity, social responsibility, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Ambassadors are young changemakers who represent ExploreXtraordinaire in their schools and communities, leading mission projects that directly impact under-resourced children—beginning with Syrian refugee camps.

  • The Global Ambassador Program is a leadership initiative of the ExploreXtraordinaire Center. It is designed to empower youth leaders worldwide to champion education equity, cross-cultural collaboration, and social responsibility. Ambassadors are young changemakers who represent ExploreXtraordinaire in their schools and communities. The vision of the program is to nurture a generation of youth leaders who connect globally and act locally to transform education and lives.

  • The theme of the Handbook and Charter is Explore, Experience, Contribute!. Through this framework, ambassadors will:

    1. Explore global issues affecting education and youth.

    2. Experience leadership through real projects and intercultural teamwork.

    3. Contribute to improving the lives of disadvantaged children through advocacy, tutoring, and fundraising.

  • The program is designed to impact under-resourced children, beginning with Syrian refugee camps. A primary objective is to provide Syrian refugee children with access to quality tutoring in English and Math.

  • Ambassadors are expected to:

    • Represent ExploreXtraordinaire values.

    • Lead or support mission projects within their communities and schools.

    Promote and recruit tutors for the Online Tutoring Project.

    • Fundraise to support education (including for devices, internet, and supervision in camps).

    • Attend monthly online meetings for training and progress updates.

    • Share impact stories through school events, blogs, or videos.

  • The core project is the Online Tutoring for Syrian Refugee Camps, which focuses on English & Math tutoring led by youth volunteers.

  • Applicants must meet several criteria:

    1. Be Global Summer Program (GSP) participants OR be recommended by current ambassadors, school leaders, or teachers.

    2. Demonstrate a commitment to education, leadership, or volunteerism.

    3. Commit to a minimum of 5 hours/month participation.

  • The process includes an online application form and a letter of recommendation (if the applicant is not a GSP participant). An interview is optional for the final selection.

  • The minimum term for service is one school year (which is renewable). The general time commitment required is approximately 5–10 hours/month.
